Our fall drink of choice this year is a twist on a much beloved champagne classic. And who doesn’t need a little more champagne in their life?
The Apple Cider Mimosa is delicious, versatile, and so season-appropriate it could be the mascot.
You can day drink with it and still be elegant, you can impress your friends with it, and even if you play around with the recipe it always tastes great!
This featured Apple Cider Mimosa made by Becky Hardin over at The Cookie Rookie is the delicious basic version:
½ Champagne
½ Apple Cider
Gold and Silver sprinkled rim.
The alterations are so, so enticing.
We’ve seen additions of vanilla vodka, caramel vodka, and scotch and brown sugar. We’ve seen the sprinkle rim changed to brown sugar, caramel sauce and cinnamon sugar, and crushed graham cracker crumbs. And that’s just what we’ve seen. Get creative! Channel your Autumn spirit! With Thanksgiving approaching, this is one excellent addition to your feasting repertoire.
